This book is a collection of outstanding theses in both Chinese and English languages，from graduates of the China-EU Institute for Clean and Renewable Energy's （ ICARE）double master's degree programme in the recent two years. Concerned with subjects including heat pump performance evaluation，new type of Stirling engine design，heat dissipation characteristics of electronic module encapsulation and improvement of energy efficiency and energy balance analysis for advanced energy utilization process，these theses are fruits of labor from students and their advisors at ICARE，and represent the achievements of China-EU joint-education in energy technologies.
